Sisters

Bob took the three boys with him to pick up a few groceries for the girls' visit from New York, and while they were gone, the girls arrived. It was their first visit down here and so exciting to see them and to show off the house and backyard with its pond.

God's timing was perfect, getting this place just right for the boys' arrival. We knocked out three walls, and transformed a rather closed, very traditional home of an older couple into an open, bright and welcoming place where, from the kitchen you can see what's going on in the family room.

Back from the store, the guys all walked into the kitchen with hugs "all 'round bartender" for the big sisters. At first hesitant, the two small Ukrainians, who stuck out their hands for a polite handshake, were within seconds, laughing and talking and giving hugs like they'd always been here. In the midst of the jumble of happy bodies wriggled Skipper the dog, whining, licking, and jumping his greetings too.
